Celebrating Serving the Laurel Area For 30 Years!!
Cataracts will affect most people and worsen as you age. Cataracts change the protein structure within the lens which eventually causes vision to become cloudy. We can help restore your vision by surgically removing them.
Once the cataract becomes thicker, your vision will no longer be helped by glasses or contacts. Let us help you maintain your eye health and create a treatment plan that will best serve you and your needs.

Learn more about some of our surgical capabilites:
Laser Eye Surgery - lasers may be used to treat nonrefrative conditions such as a retinal tear. The beam of light is used to reshape the surface of the eye and can be performed to correct myopia, hypermetropia, and astigmatism.
Cataract Surgery - if visual loss due to cataracts is significat, surgical removal and replacement of the lens is usually needed.
Punctual Plugs - Punctual plugs are devices inserted into our tear ducts to block drainage. This increases the eye's tear film and surface moisture to relieve dry eyes. Our Doctor will start by placing temporary plugs into the tear ducts. If this improves your condition, the temporary plugs will be replaced with permanent plugs. This procedure is done in house.
